— Who we are

A Commercial Environmental Contractor Built for New York

CRE exists because commercial and public-sector projects in New York City can’t afford guesswork around hazardous materials. When a tenant build-out, a school renovation or a demolition runs into asbestos, lead, mold or contaminated material, the owner needs one team that knows the rules, files the paperwork and gets the area cleared.

Our leadership comes out of the emergency restoration industry — 50+ years of experience responding to the worst day a property has. That background shapes how we work: we show up fast, assess honestly and write everything down.

We work exclusively on commercial, institutional and government properties across the five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester and the wider Tri-State area.

[CLIENT TO SUPPLY: 2–3 sentences of real origin story — year founded, why CRE was started, who leads it.]

— What we stand for

How We Approach Every Project

01

Hazmat first

We assume a site is hazardous until a certified survey says it isn't. It costs far less to be sure than to stop work later.

02

Paperwork is part of the job

DEP filings, manifests, clearance results and closeout documents are deliverables, not afterthoughts.

03

Respect for your schedule

We plan backward from your GC's start date, work the hours your building allows — nights, weekends, phased floors — and tell you early when something changes.

— How we work

One Accountable Team, the Right Specialists

Environmental projects involve more than one licensed party by design. Independent air monitors, certified investigators, engineers and permitted disposal facilities each have a role, and the law requires some of them to be independent of the contractor.

CRE manages that team, owns the schedule and the filings, and answers for the outcome. You get one point of contact from survey to closeout.
